The film that started it all.

Released in 1977, Pumping Iron introduced Arnold Schwarzenegger to a global audience. The film took bodybuilding from a niche subculture to a mainstream phenomenon and laid the cultural foundation the Arnold Sports Festival itself grew out of.

Fifty years later, the 2027 festival marks the anniversary with a full weekend of programming, exclusive merchandise and one-of-a-kind tributes to the film that made the sport.
